I am excited to announce that I have converted from my internship into a full-time Software Engineer role at Workiva! After interning on the document translation and financial reporting teams throughout 2025, I officially joined the team full-time in December 2025, and I have since moved to Seattle, WA.
In this role, I develop and maintain full-stack GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) product features, including history enablement, scheduling, and task notifications, using Kotlin, TypeScript, GraphQL, SQL, and Snowflake. I have also had the opportunity to collaborate with multiple engineering teams on shared APIs and libraries, and to take part in on-call support and production issue triage to help keep our customer-facing systems reliable.
I am grateful for the mentorship and support from my team during my internship, and I am looking forward to continuing to grow as an engineer while wrapping up my Masters thesis at Montana State University. Excited for this new chapter in Seattle!
